This is something we sometimes hear when we are teaching our dogs. Dogs are great during class or in the presence of a trainer, but in other situations they behave differently. This can be very frustrating for some owners and they just can’t figure out why this happens.

- There is a lack of consistency in the classroom and in between lessons.
- At home there is a lack of follow-through
- In the home, the dog is not supervised properly.
- The current training status of your dog may be situational.
